So I heard that a blogger can get a press pass and all the benifits that go with it, like being able to get into gun shows and stuff free and junk like that. So I figured I'd look into it.
I havent found anything yet on getting a free one, the first place I looked wanted 450 euros (like 500 to 600 dollars) for the pass and you got ten buisness cards free. RIP OFF! Apearently you can apply to news papers and stuff to get one but I still need to do a little more research.

Well from what I see my friend who has a press pass must have gotten it forged or somthing. The requirments for a "ligit" pass are very restrictive. Mostly you have to allready be published in another place like a local newspaper or a news letter or somwhere. Then you have to be accepted by the organization as being an asset to them if they give you a pass.
So in other words: A press pass is really hard to get, and if you not seriouse about working to get it it's not worth thinking about. I would be seriouse about getting one, but I'm not in the States and I dont think maney people who are are interested in this little po-dunk island.
Also, the bloggers that got press passes aperantly stirred up quite a hornets nest in the media. They are now a matter of some controversy.

Press Passes are the things that you see reportes show to cops when they want to get into a crime scene or somthing.
Its like a way to get into places that normal people cant get into. It can also allow you to take a camera to sports matches and stuff, cuz nomal people cant usualy do that.
It also gives you a title so you can be all like "Yah well I'm part of the media" :P
