Ok if you looked at my profile you might have seen that I put "guitar building" as one of my intrests, and if you didnt see it there you know it now.
So yah, I'm into wood work and stuff and I like guitars. I'd been looking into buying an electric guitar for a while. But I realized that I'd never get a 300 dollar guitar past my dad without getting a classic "dadism" like "You could save that money for latter" or "That's a lot of money". So I looked into what I'd need to build an electric guitar. Amazing how big the internet is and how you cant find all that much on the building of electric guitars in it! So I finally ended up getting a book on the subject. After reading it a few times I was a little confused but still wanted to do it. So I went to a musical instument parts supply web site and got most of what I needed all in one shot. Then I proceeded to make the gutar body and neck and all that.
I wount go into the whole detaild process unless someone asks me to, but sufice it to say for now that I built my first electric guitar and that it actually worked on the first try!

It does have defects and a few minor electrical flaws, but I can never the less say that I pulled it off.

I logged in and was like "wow" three comments. Haha. No I'm not mad. Its cool that somone actually looked at what I've done so far.
Any way. The reason I have so maney posts is because I have nothing else to do online and I have a lot of down time during the vacation. Its really funny how board I get on vacation and yet how sad I am to see it slipping away. Hmmm, sounds like a good topic for another post. :)
